In Ali S. Khan's article entitled Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse, he instructs on how to survive a zombie outbreak. The author supports his claim by stating steps to do when an outbreak or a natural disaster happens for example water, food, and a first aid kit just to name a few. The author next proceeds to show that there are organizations that are prepared for a disaster such as a zombie outbreak. These organizations have a plan ready and will have a camp for people that haven't got taken by the zombies. Knowing that we have an organization that is ready to help when the time comes is more comforting than knowing we don't have a plan. Finally, the author continues to state that the CDC is ready for any disaster to come, even ones we don't know that we would have to ready for, the CDC has the plan and we are going to need their help one day. He says that if the there is a zombie outbreak, "When zombies are hungry they won't stop until they get food." The CDC searches for the infection, virus, and the toxins so that once they find out it will be easier to find a way to create a cure. Khan's purpose is to inform us on procedures that we have to know when either a natural or abnormal disaster in order to keep alive and stay healthy is to follow these steps that he gives so we can live longer and be prepared for any disaster.
